This issue im having is that every couple of days as i came back to hubspot it was asking me for a password again, rather than rememering me. This is a common issue for users and I can absolutely understand how frustrating this behavior is.This post has been marked as a solution to pin it to the top of the post. I am getting this for users that do use a password each time as well as accounts that have been deleted for years.

HubSpot

As you will see, I’ve added a query parameter to the URL that will prompt the browser to fetch the live version of the page, i.e. no cache will be applied as that very URL as it’s a URL you’ve never opened before. Are you logging in via an email or a SSO or Google account? I am able to login through Microsoft edge though. I reset my password and cleared my cache and history. Nothing happens when I login. Double-check all folders and filtersCheck spam, promotions, updates, and even your email quarantine if you’re using Google Workspace or Outlook.

It’s especially annoying that you both have to be challenged for SSO both in the webapp and the Outlook Add-In multiple times a day. It is so counterproductive to the sales process and provides our entire sales team an excuse for the lack of rigor we are trying to instill to capture all communication in HubSpot. Please let me know if you do see any reasonable solution. Absurd that this issue has not been fixed or really even acknowledged yet…

Hoping this issue gets fixed soon. No matter how many “fixes”, remember me, 2FA – it’s the same thing every day. Same issue, incredibly frustrating. We have tried the desktop and 365 add-ins as well as the HubSpot recommended cookie and safe website setting. Can HubSpot at least confirm if they are working on a solution or if this should be considered expected behavior? The issue is no one seems to know how to fix it, which makes me have very little confidence in the people building and working on this program.

I raised the ticket because one does come to have some expectations as to what a login/logout timeframe generally is for similar platforms, and Hubspot’s was just not up to par. “I’ve not continued using Hubspot as much because of this, so could not tell you if the issue is fully still there or not, but it likley is still there, as I did put up with this for months after raising the issue.” This is basic functionality, and not really looking to chase this for another year.. Ah yeah lmao it’s the login button thanks (Come on Hubspot you can do this) If my reply answered your question please mark it as a solution to make it easier for others to find. If so, you likely need to click your profile in the top right, scroll down to where it says accounts, and you may need to switch portals there.

Two of us in our office are having this issue, constantly being asked to log in, Remember Me having very little impact. Both the Outlook plugin and the Login Page both require sign in more than 2x per day. We have moved to Hubspot but this could be a deal breaker for our team. The more info, screenshots (without sensitive/confidential information), and details you can provide, the better the Community can assist.Thank you in advance and have a great day! Or just on the HubSpot login page? I understand how frustrating it can be to click on the “Remember me” feature and then have to enter the credentials again.I’m sorry to hear about your experience regarding this.So that I can ask the Team to take a closer look, I would need additional information to be able to investigate further please.- When this feature is not working, is it on the HubSpot Sales extension?

Failed login with Microsoft SSO on Android

Gotta say I don’t love the soft pedalling, gas-lighty nature of the responses from the support team here. I’ve changed to 3 days now, and I hope it can help a little bit on my problem. I have this issue with th eOutlook extension; is there a solution for it as well? 2) Uninstalling all other versions of Hubspot that might have been installed on the user’s PC. My colleague seems to have ‘face login’ he said it just appeared. If you continue to have login issues after utilizing this new feature and following these troubleshooting steps, please fill out this feedback form.

Ive used hubspot for a while so i have a feeling of roughly how long it used to take before i was prompted for entering credentials again (or in exceptions like system update etc), but its stragne that in the course of normal day to day use i need to login every day or two. When testing, if I go to hubspot.com and click “login”, it will take me to the login page, but if I click one of my bookmarks to HubSpot I will not need to log in.I would recommend using the bookmark route as it should prevent you from taking extra steps as well by going to hubspot.com and having to click “log in” at the top.If this doesn’t help and the “remember me” option is still showing the same behavior, please let me know and I’ll be happy to investigate this further for you.Thank you and have a good day.Best,Bérangère We have to login via outlook and browser on a daily basis, even though we have the ‘remember this device’ box checked. Hi, i’m having this same issue, reported it to support and they gave me the usual bs that because im a free account they cannot provide support to this.

Hubspot has just this week started asking users to re-login multiple times each day @KKrulec, then it’s best to check directly with the HubSpot Support team for this issue. A solution I found was to instead use standard login with e-mail + password and remember to tick the box “Remember me”. Despite the fact our inactivity is set to 3 days, we are seeing instances where it is logging out after only a few minutes!! In my case the people having this issue all had the “Hubspot Sales Addin for Outlook” installed seperately as well as the O365 addin, which presumely caused interferences with other. Additionally, does this happen for all users on all android devices or is it limited to anyone specific? @KKrulec As for your issue, I understand your Microsft SSO is throwing a HubSpot error when using it for login.

I have launched salesforce at a company as well, and been a user of many other crms. This seems to be a systemic issue since many people are experiencing the same thing. We’re having the same issues @kvlschaefer I’ve not continued using Hubspot as much because of this, so could not tell you if the issue is fully still there or not, but it likley is still there, as I did put up with this for months after raising the issue. I raised this issue 6 months ago, with no useful help from Hubspot, other than to say I need to pay to go to premium if i want to receive any decent help.

If you haven’t been added onto their portal, then you haven’t added yourself onto their account correctly. Help the community by marking it as a solution. I have tried to set up my account there but hubspot is trying to set it up so that it uses my Instance of hubspot.

Add HubSpot system addresses to your safe sender listallowlist no- and This login issue was caused by a backend feature of the tool.

I launched hubspot at 3 different companies thus far, and i never would have done that if this was havong those problems back then. When i first started using hubspot 3-4 years ago, this was never an issue. If it can find this cookie, it will not challenge the user to confirm their login again. @kvlschaefer me and my team are having the same issue.

Hi @cec3 and all,While I understand this is frustrating, these cases can be tricky to resolve because they depend on individual browser environments and settings. Therefore, I need to run some tests and check some settings with you to remove some of the potential causes for this behavior.HubSpot recognizes users with the help of a cookie that is placed in the user’s browser. Many other platforms offer similar service with their own pros and cons, but not the issue of having to login every 2 days! I’m sorry to hear about your experiences regarding this.I would like to apologize for the frustration, data issues, and business impact this has caused. For information, if a user clicks “Remember me”, then the cookie will last for 28 days.Otherwise, it will last until the user closes the browser.Have you tried to bookmark a page in HubSpot, then close the tab then reopen the bookmark? I have a 2fa, use mac chrome, and just feels unusual to need to be doing this login every day or two. How do I explain to our team that works tirelessly to solve issues everyday that we can’t fix a simple login issue like this.

I’ve already checked my spam and junk folders, but the code hasn’t arrived. I’m not receiving the verification code required to complete the login process. Moving forward, you and your team members should no longer be prompted to log in frequently.
